Hi and welcome to my blog! If you have read my about page, you know a little about my journey as an author, but I will write it here as well.
Being the daughter of an electronic publisher (www.writers-exchange.com), I have been immersed in books from a very young age. I was always reading, up to 2 full sized novels per week. This has helped to expand my vocabulary and grow a passion for reading and writing.
I entered short story competitions in primary school, following on to writing my own short stories on my computer. With this practice, I moved to writing full-length novels, though I only completed my first in 2012 (at the age of 18). I have not yet been published, and I am not pursuing publication with my mother's company--I don't want to cheat!
I have a passion for science fiction and fantasy books, and this what I both read and write. My first novel--Dreamscape is its working title--I have completed and am now working on getting published is a little over 65k words long. It is, for a novel, a relatively short fantasy coming-of-age, combining elements of a medieval society with alternate dimensions where the gods reside, to a futuristic/sci fi machine from the future that travelled to the past, summoned the dead/demons from an alternate dimension, and is hellbent on conquering the land.
I will be posting short excerpts of this story on my blog, as well as from my next WIP novel (a science fiction/post apocalyptic novel of 46k words) and the process of getting these published!
I will also include the designs for the covers of the books that I will be doing. For more of my art, check out:
