Up to 40,000 words on Beneath The Eye! I've also opened an account on Fiverr, doing editing/proofreading, as well a portraits and cover design! Check them out here:
Up to 33,000 words on Beneath the Eye. The entire plot is pretty well outlined, and I'm just filling in the gaps and adding some extras. My current mini-goal is 40k, but that's just a step to 80k!
After a week and a bit off (bad timing!) to go see family, I finished NaNoWriMo at 24k words. Not super, but good for a first attempt and first drafts usually taking me 6-8 months, I think! I've got the basic plot down, mostly bare bones stuff.
Time to shelve for now, work on improving my last book I just got some feedback on (and then re-releasing) before finishing up the first draft to my goal of 80k!
First draft for NaNoWriMo, tentatively titled Beneath the Eye, is up to 16k words! Out of a goal of 50k for the entire month, I'm 1/3 of the way there and only 1/4 into the month. :D
Mostly on time! I'm at 12,000 words on my WIP, which is a record, compared to what I've usually accomplished. Probably a bit of a mess, but definitely a good framework for my next novel!
NaNoWriMo in 2 days, and I've completed and published The Leavers!!! Working on a concept for next month's attempt at completing a novel-length WIP in the entire month of November. :O Wish me luck!
Updating my print books' sizes and formatting inside (they're now available in both 6x9" and 5x8" sizes) and decided to fix up Watership's cover at the same time!
A vast improvement, IMO.
The Leavers is nearing a close!! Editing is almost done--just have the end to wrap up, and it's ready for publication!
Though I may need to put it on the backburner for next month (and it's probably a good idea for maximum inspiration for the last few scenes and climax) as I will, for the first time, be taking part in NaNoWriMo....ie, writing a novel in the one month of November!
Got the near-to last comments and critiques from my beta readers, and I'm about halfway through edits on The Leavers! It's a grind but it's good to see the story actually finally taking shape. I'm excited to publish it even more now, especially with the new cover.
